Melé (Krissy Peers) is a Liverpool-born DJ and producer celebrated for his vibrant mix of percussive house, UK club sounds, and Chicago grooves. Over more than a decade, he’s built a globally resonant sound. Even during 2020’s pandemic, Melé thrived with releases like Conga Mode on his Club Bad label (400k+ streams) and The Panther EP on Circus Recordings, collaborating with Lazarusman. His Groove La Afrika topped Beatport’s Afro House chart. In 2024, he continued to impress with a WHP Records collaboration with KILIMANJARO and the Carnaval EP for Fabric Originals, showcasing both his Afro-house roots and genre-bending versatility. His acclaimed remixes span Armand Van Helden, Future Utopia, and STR4TA, with releases on Brownswood, HEIST, Circus, Edible, and Defected. A high-profile touring artist, Melé has played The Warehouse Project, Drumsheds, Coachella, ULTRA South Africa, and Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here Festival. He also featured on Diplo’s Grammy-nominated album with “Right 2 Left” ft. Busta Rhymes.
